Function and Feature

Description

Basic function

Amplifies extended C-band input optical signals, covering wavelengths within the range of 1528.8 nm to 1567.6 nm.
Multiplexes or demultiplexes the service signal light, RPC pump light, and ROP pump light together with the high-power pump light emitted by the ERPC board. The ERPC board can be used as either a forward pump board or a backward pump board.
Implements the distributed online amplification of signals over long distance with wide bandwidth and low noise.
Supports the panel interlock function. The panel provides an interlock switch. The interlock switch is used to control the module power-on or power-off and the pluggable status of the board.
Supports the turning off control on the switch of the pump source using the LAS button on the panel.

Alarms and performance events monitoring

Detects the optical power of the pump laser, and pump current.

Supports board temperature detection and reporting.

Supports detection on the reflection optical power.

NOTE:

During the startup or use of a laser, if the detected reflection optical power is greater than 15 dBm, the laser will be automatically shut down.

Working mode

Supports the pump power locking mode.
